Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

ashtray its called personal hygiene which most desis lack !!

Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

You are living in a country whose women wouldn’t mind showing you their breasts or their private parts…You will have men who will smile at you while taking a shower naked in front of you without a second thought…A man kissing a man in this country is acceptable behaviour…

And you are being conscious of having hairy legs? :cb:

Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

Ms. Brown, this particular personal hygiene is something most non-desis lack too. How many non-desis do you know who trim their body hair? Also tell us about their sexual orientation, that will help a lot in determining who you are talking about.

And finally, as a word of advise, if it is someone you know of and care for and have future plans with, I will advise you to tread carefully, as he will soon make a trip out of his closet. :)

Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

You don't let any opportunity go by without ditching the country and it's people. That's a lot of hate :-D

As for hair...don't be shy of your manhood...that doesn't mean you lose your shorts as well.
p.s. Jump in the deep, you will learn faster.

Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

Hair are useful in keeping us cool, for a nice shade and some might even argue that make us look better. But one of drawbacks of hair is that they are dirt magnets and can lead to hygiene problems.

As a rule of thumb, if your bodily hair are more than an inch long, you might think about trimming/clipping them. I have seen some guys at the gym with a couple of inches long chest hair, which might help them keep warm but they certainly look shabby.

Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

Having read your posts, I can safely say that you are well trained by the media to think in terms of ‘with us or against us’ mentality…

Criticism is not enmity, dissent is not anti-Americanism and difference of opinion is not supporting terror…

Similarly, pointing out the obvious is not hate…

But you might not be able to tell the difference between the various sentiments that accompany an opinion…That takes time…And you are too well trained…

Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

Lajo, not to take the thunder away from this thread but what is your understanding of enmity, anti-Americanism and supporting terror? Give us an example of what you consider supporting terror and give another when someone has a difference of opinion?

If you like, we can start a new thread on it.

Re: Swimming - Question for Guys

I think you'd feel more comfortable with shaved legs while swimming, not for aesthetic reasons but because in the water you dont want to have the hair causing extra friction. Seriously, if I were you I'd shave - thats if the hair really is thick and long.
