a swimsuit :) - most of the pools in Pakistan are gender segregated.
Everyone wears a swimsuit or a longer version of a swimsuit.

One of friends use to swim in shalwar qamiz in pakistan. hehe wonder how she managed that

Most wear shorts or swimsuits. In non-segregated pools they usually wear shorts or capri-style trackpants and a shirt. The girls on the swim teams (with a male coach) with those one pieces that reach the thigh as opposed to undie-shaped ones.

Hmmm.. I have a couple of **one piece **cutout swimsuits and am wondering if they’re ok or too revealing.. The pool is residential but can be seen by neighbours etc. Parents said be careful incase ppl take pics

When I was a kid in Pak we had this swimming club nearby, I tried to hang around when it was womens' time but this police uncle at the door always used to shoo me away :(

deebs which pool is it? I have been in the karsarz /bahraia or however you spell it one and wore a tankini and shorts on top of the bottoms

I stayed at the mariott karachi in june 2010. upon check in one of the beautiful saree clad women told me they have a pool, I told her i didn't realize they had a women's only pool and didn't pack any swimsuits. she told me i could purchase or rent one. So one of the days I headed down to the lobby and they pointed me in the direction of the pool i think i paid less than $10 for a swimsuit that wasn't ugly and fit and swam my heart out which was such a great way to relax given that I was visiting in june and I wasn't accustomed to that kind of heat. It was private, indoors and a blast. I was able to get a good workout and really enjoyed splashing around in the cool water.

^that sounds awesome! What kind of sqimsuit was it? The one-piece tankini or the shorts? I've only seen the shorts one.

ya it was just a regular swimsuit, scoop back normal one piece.
