how big of a sin is it to swear in the name of Allah and/or the Holy Prophet? and even on the Quran?
people who say “Allah kasam, etc etc” or say “La illaha and so on” and are in fact lying about whatever they are “promising” .. how big of a sin is this to do ?
Re: swearing in the name of God, and/or the Holy Prophet
People in the subcontinent say Allah kasam and in arabic a similar expression is Wallahi. To purposely lie after saying this would be a big sin, at a calculated guess it would be an act of disbelief
What kind of lies have you heard from someone after saying ‘‘La illaha and so on’’? Never heard of any misuse of this expression. Please state what you meant
Re: swearing in the name of God, and/or the Holy Prophet
to give you an example - a secret was shared amongst my friend and I. the friend told someone else and got caught (That she spread the secret) cuz I didn’t tell a single soul except her.. when confronted, my friend said “Allah ki kasam and La illaha illala Muhumaad ur rasululah I never said such a thing” and went on and on defending herself. but it was known she was lying cuz she was the ONLY person told of the secret.
another example, a man secretly got married to someone (so obviously, never got permisson from wife #1](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1) ). when confronted, he too, said the above “Quran this and Allah that and Prophet Muhammad this, I never married”. come to find out, months later, he HIMSELF SAID “yes, it’s true. I did get married”.
and till this day, this person says how God fearing he is and never misses namaz, reads Quran etc etc. oh puhleeeezzzzz !
how is it you swore up, down, left, and right saying on such holy things/person that you didn’t do something, yet admit later that you in fact, did.
