ok , so i got this ticket the 4th time for parking in a visitor parking of the building this friend lives in. Yes, fine, it was all my fault all the time..fine, i admit.. but this time when i got the ticket, i saw the person issuing ticket, i got so mad that i literally swore at him and ripped the ticket in fronta him, dropped the ripped ticket there and left.. now , im wondering if i did anything wrong?.. can he take me to court for cussing him, because i just went back to the visitor parking and wanted to take the ticket back, but i did not find it there.. so i assume he took it with him.. but now im kinda concerned if he can take anything against me ??

please help. Thanks.

PS: its in toronto.

What you did was wrong.. :(

I doubt he'd take action against you... Did you take note of his/her name? Maybe you should go to the local place and explain yourself and apologize...

And never swear again. :p

well i parked at visitor parking that needs to have permit at all times, and hence the ticket.

i just didnt know what happened to me.. i just lost my senses i guess.. but ya, i did tell him to f off and stuff like that.. so, what do ya think? can he take me to court or charge me for that?..
yes, i got his name though.

No, I doubt he'd do that.
Just go whenever you get a chance, and explain to him why you did that- insha Allah, he'll forget everything.

Bechare like him get yelled at very often. Ppl swear at em for the tickets.
Who likes a ticket anyways... I'm sure he'll understand!!

well, i got no time to go explain him.. and honestly, i dont feel bad of what i did , but was just wondering if there is any such rule in ontario which he can use against me ?

no, he was being a jackass.. he was issuing ticket while i was standing there and tellin him im about to leave, and hes goin no, ive already started processing your ticket, you either wait for your ticket or it will come in your mail.. thats when i got mad, and swore.

Maybe, you should try to understand his position? After all he is just doing his job and I'm sure he gets enough abuse from other people.

However, there are some of them who give you a ticket even though they haven't issued it and you're at the car. That I dislike very much.

Anyhow if he dont have proof like Aunty1 said it’s your word against his so idoubt it’ll end up in court.

If you cant sleep easy just go to the local station and apologise.

As regards to the ticket this could be cause to up your fine to a higher amount… in fact cussing an officer gives him the right to double your fine or worse.

by the way, i seriously would not think he can do much to u at all, so chill - and if u're in a uni or something, go speak to your counsellor
