musharraf and his regime is history now, so whatever they did was then, you cant go and redo stuff, drag them to court, charge em whatever but that does not change anything that is happening today.

Students were extremists? some of us who have lived there for ages, pretty much been there for every jummah know better. Just go there and talk to the residents and see for yourself what they think about lal masjid, and what they think about musharraf. Retaliatory suicide bombing, duh, one goes and bomb someones mother and sister, they'll go ballistic and do anything it takes to hurt them back.
This was a stupid operation, and the only thing this proves was one stupid general's senility and incompetence as a soldier, if anything. I think he was drunk when he gave those orders.
