Should buy or not ?. Never purchased but thinking of buying necklace.
I dont really know much abt it. Gud asset like gold or nt?. Able to sell or nt. Dont wanto spend too much money if it doesnt have value?

My husband gave me a necklace from swarovski last week on my birthday, it is gorgeous and looking quite precious but still don't know if it's the same value as gold.

Its definitely not like gold, nothing retains value like gold, not even diamonds
But they have some really lovely, elegant pieces, amazing sparkle and if you take care of them, they will last you. You are paying for the name, but definitely the quality as well. But dont buy in terms of it being an investment piece, because it isnt

I don't think it would be at the level of gold and precious gems.

Its costume jewelry but quality jewelry IMHO.
Its much more expensive than things you might find at Claire's and whatnot but still not equivalent to gold.
