Salam
Does anyone know if its possible to buy swarowski (not sure about the spelling) crystals somewhere so that my kaam wala can add them to the kaam on my outfits?

The spelling is correct. :)

I am assuming that you are talking about getting them somewhere in Pakistan. I know that Swarowski had an outlet in Karachi, but I don't know whether that still exists and where exactly it is/was.

Oh, I forgot to say that I want to buy them in Pk.
I`m coming to Pk tomorrow...I would love to know where in Karachi I can buy them.
Anyone else who know?

I dont know about karachi but i do know places in lahore. Yeah, in dubai my mom bought swarovski crystals and gave it to the tailor to stich them on to my abaya and sheila so yeah here in dubai you can do it and in lahore too. not sure about karachi :)

where are you located..
in karachi you can get them at many places mostly near where kaam walas are there.
ask for Nag, but make sure crystals quality is good as there are many types.

are you sure they are swarovski ke nag? in lahore and here u too u get naag but they are not swarovski.. i think she mentioned she needs specific swarovski ones

I would like to have pure swarovski crystals.
Junaid001 - do u know a specific place where I can get them? Some where near Saddar\Gulf\3 talwaar\Tariq Road.

Hope to recive an answer soon as I`m travelling to Pk early tomorrow.

in lahore , liberty Ramnab is famous for nugs, swarovski stones and all fancy imported stuff. but its expensive u can also buy them from moti bazar lahore...but not sure abt motii bazar. i also have some swarovski stone from ramnab liberty... yes . there is also a shop in liberty name, "In design" they also have a nice variety.

hey some swarovski are Australian or japan made, original are Switzerland made and its crystals with special metallic chemical coatings, it gives the surface a rainbow oil slick appearance.

I know for a fact that the originals are not made in Switzerland. I have been to Swarovski's corporate headquarters a few years ago which are located in the Tyrol province of Austria. And that's also where their original production facility is.

That is not far away from Switzerland though. Roughly a 1-hour drive from the border between Austria and Switzerland.

yes from Austria. comes in different sizes. it also called fresh stone another is plastic stone... both hav great difference.
