ok WWE lovers…table has been set for Survivor Series 2004…here is the list of schedules matches…
Undertaker vs. Heidenreich
Undertaker is no stranger to big men. In fact, he has defeated some of the largest in sports-entertainment history, including Yokozuna, Giant Gonzales, King Kong Bundy, Diesel and Kane.
But on Nov. 14, live on pay-per-view, the Deadman will not only be battling a big man; he’ll be facing a mentally unstable big man. Since arriving on the SmackDown! scene, Heidenreich has proven to be the craziest big man in recent history. In fact, he is so unstable that he must now wear a straight jacket at all times - unless, of course, he is competing in the ring.
Will the Undertaker finally meet his match at Survivor Series? Or will the Deadman once again prove why he is considered one of the most legendary forces in this great business?
Intercontinental Championship
Former Intercontinental Champion Christian is notorious for having other people fight his battles for him. For months, he has hidden behind the muscle of Tyson Tomko, and most recently, Christian hired WWE free agent Viscera to take out Shelton Benjamin.
On November 14, however, it will be Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin one on one. Can Christian reclaim Intercontinental Championship glory? Or will Benjamin’s meteoric rise continue?
Women’s Championship
On November 14 at Survivor Series, Trish Stratus and Lita will finally settle their long-running grudge in the ring, one on one. While these two beautiful WWE Divas are no strangers to competing with or against each other, never before has the rivalry been this fierce, or had this much hatred behind it.
While the issues between Trish and Lita have intensified greatly in 2004, their careers have been seemingly intertwined since the day Trish made her in-ring debut. On a June 2000 edition of Sunday Night Heat, Stratus triumphed in their first clash, teaming with Test and Albert to defeat Lita and the Hardy Boyz. Their rivarly raged on throughout the summer, culminating in a memorable Strap Match on a July episode of RAW. Since then, they’ve battled in and out of the ring as both friends and foes; on November 14, the hatred will be rekindled, and the score will be settled once and for all.
In early 2001, with the threat of a WCW/ECW invasion looming, Trish and Lita put aside their differences, and found themselves fighting together on the side of WWE. They made a successful pair, defeating then-WCW Divas Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler in a Bra and Panties Match at the July Invasion pay-per-view. However, they quickly found themselves back in competition, this time for the vacant WWE Women’s Championship. In their first Survivor Series showdown in November 2001, Trish was victorious in a Six-Pack Challenge for the belt, with Lita among the other challengers.
In 2003, Trish and Lita were bound together by fate once again. Throughout the summer, the once again fan-favorite Trish was on the receiving end of several beatings, courtesy of the duo of Molly Holly and Gail Kim. Finally, in mid-September, Lita made her return from a serious neck injury to aid Trish during an episode of RAW; six days later at Unforgiven, the duo successfully defeated Gail and Molly. Their friendship seemed to blossom, until Trish returned to her evil ways at WrestleMania XX, joining forces with Christian as the result of a gentleman’s bet gone bad.
The rivalry re-intensified this summer, as Lita found herself pregnant, but unsure of whether she was carrying Kane or Matt Hardy’s baby. Kane was finally revealed as the father, and thanks to a victory over Hardy at SummerSlam, he won the right to marry Lita. Throughout the ordeal, Trish continually badmouthed Lita at every opportunity; she even went so far as to interrupt the wedding itself, insinuating that Lita was too promiscuous and immoral for her own good. Lita swore revenge, but the health of her baby prevented any activity.
Unfortunately, Lita lost the baby in September. While it was disappointing news for her, it may prove to be even worse for Stratus. As Lita dealt with the emotional trauma, she regained her physical capabilities; when Trish finally went too far, she was ready and willing to seek physical revenge. On November 14, in Cleveland, that quest will hopefully come to fruition for the red-haired bombshell.
Orton, Jericho, Maven & Benoit vs. Triple H, Batista, Snitsky & Edge
For probably the first time in his career, RAW General Manager made a decision that negatively effected Evolution when he announced a Classic Survivor Series Rules Match that included the faction, sans Ric Flair.
Even without Flair, however, Triple H and Batista have a formidable team, as Gene Snitsky and Edge will fill in the two other spots. Their competition - Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Maven and Chris Benoit.
The rivalries amongst these eight men right now will undoubtedly make for an unforgettable match. But the stipulations associated with the match make it that much more exciting. According to Bischoff, the winning team will be in total control of Monday Night RAW while the General Manager takes a month-long vacation.
Guerrero, Big Show, RVD & ??? vs. Angle, Jindrak, Reigns & Cool
As former General Manager and an active wrestler on SmackDown!, Kurt Angle has given many WWE Superstars a reason to hate him in 2004. At the top of the list has been Eddie Guerrero, who Angle has twice screwed out of the WWE title.
On Nov. 14, at Survivor Series, Angle and Guerrero will meet once again, as team captains for a 4-on-4 Classic Survivor Series Elimination match. Angle’s teammates for this battle include his faithful proteges, Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak, as well as United States Champion Carlito Caribbean Cool, who comes along with the services of Jesus. Guerrero, meanwhile, has acquired the services of Rob Van Dam and Big Show, who had his head shaved by Angle and friends in late September.
With the formidable combo of Show and RVD by his side, Latino Heat must still search out a fourth team member. Eddie’s original choice, Rey Mysterio, was removed by General Manager Theodore Long last week on SmackDown! Long had already booked Rey in a Fatal Four Way for the Cruiserweight Title, leaving Eddie one man short of a team. Long told Guerrero of his decision this past week on SmackDown!, and gave Latino Heat one week to find a replacement.
Cruiserweight Championship
Four of the world’s top cruiserweights will compete for the division’s top prize Sunday, Nov. 14, at Survivor Series, when Cruiserweight Champion Spike Dudley puts his gold on the line against Chavo Guerrero, Billy Kidman and the high-flying Rey Mysterio.
As always the case when these Superstars compete, this one guarantees to be breath taking.
WWE Championship
JBL has been WWE Champion for nearly five months.
His reign has survived numerous challenges, including a Last Ride Match with the sadistic Undertaker at No Mercy.
But lately, Booker T has been causing him trouble. Booker T even pinned JBL in a tag team match on a recent SmackDown!
But that didn’t concern JBL as much as when Booker T defeated JBL Chief of Staff Orlando Jordan for a shot at the WWE Championship at Survivor Series on Nov. 14.
Booker T is a five-time WCW Champion who may have the experience and confidence to knock JBL from his perch.
