I have decided to chuck the microwave out of my kitchen. Anyone went down the same road? Was it difficult?

I mean it has to be the bestest thing ever … Specially living in a cold country, everything tends to get thanda in seconds … so why not use the facilities available:konfused:

Ii've lived without a microwave but those were the student days. I didnt mind boiling water for tea/coffee or to re-heat food on a pan, come to think of it I still dont have much use for it.

Why would you chuck it out? Health reasons?

I had to live without one for a few days when my old one broke down.It was not easy...:(
I dont think I can easily get rid of it...!

there are enough bartan to wash anyways :(

Many people consider microwave a health hazard. There is no way on earth you could convince them otherwise.
There is no way on earth to convince people who like their microwave ovens to get rid of them.
So I live and let them live too.

First you wanted to chuck your designer clothes/handbags and makeup. And now the bechara microwave which has been faithfully serving you and your family (more so than the designer fashion and makeup) for several years??? Tumhay ho kya raha hai? Next, you’re gonna locate to some cave in the remote wilderness where you hunt food and gather berries and cook by maum batti made from tallow. :naak:

Well in my case, my hubby is convinced that microwave poses health hazards (radiation, etc) that could possibly lead to cancer...I don't know if I buy that.... however, given that both my parents passed away due to cancer, we have been trying to overhaul our lifestyle and are leaning towards more "natural" practices, so the microwave may be going bye-bye...
