Find out if you can get wholesale food items tat last longer rather Han going to the normal places for buying your shopping ..

Travel with others take wagons instead of risk has, get hubby to do shopping as he comes back and to work instead of spending more on your outings to buy the things that he could bought ..

Try to use less heating or cooling by making the home more energy efficient … This is harder because you will need initial capital to do this … But carpets are good for keeping in heat …

do local committees if they present …

Try to get your hubby to get pay rise or promotion or look for better work … Improve his CV so he can improve … Never let yourself stay too complacent and always try to improve …

Also … You can set aside days to fast and get your family members involved in that too
