Look at the industries like, textile, cosmetics, medics aesthetics, interior etc…
And almost every business is topped with strategy for trapping customers into buy their products disregarding whether their customers need it or not.

Now come to the original point that ‘survival of the fittest’ approach being followed in modern systems.
When employees fight each other to get a better raise, and become dearer in the eyes of boss?
after that when employees are fired?
And then, when new employees are hired?

Then we will talk on morality.

How is it trapping? Industries employ people. This allows them, the employees, to buy food, clothing, medicines, etc., etc.. I suspect you work as well. Do you feel your bosses are trapping you?

Employees try to perform for compensation. They aren’t gladiators. The employer has a finite resource, money. Employers want to reward people that do well. That’s called competition. Why should an employer employ someone that isn’t performing? Employers that continue to do that risk losing their business, thereby affecting the livelihood of every employee, not to mention their investors. Is that moral?

I second bella88 here! Who decides what’s moral? It’s very subjective.
