[Survey] South Asian Men on Cooking

My sister came up with the following survey for some assignment of hers and was wondering if the males here can fill it out for her.

Thanks in advance!

South Asian Men on Cooking

Do you agree with the statement, “In South Asia, it’s primarily a woman’s job to cook and is considered degrading if a man is found cooking at home”?

Do you cook? Why or why not?

If you do cook, does your cooking taste good?

Who do you think cooks better, men or women?

If given the chance, would you switch the role with your wife, leaving you in charge of all the cooking?

Do you cook on a regular basis or just as a hobby?

Would your mother like the idea of you cooking instead of your wife?

Do you think it’s a woman job to cook?

Have you ever learned to cook?

Would you cook if you were back home?

From the point of view of a typical South Asian man, do you agree that it’s not a man’s job to cook?

How would you explain the majority of men as chefs in the food business? Why is it okay?

Does your wife let you enter the kitchen? Do you leave a big mess behind?

Do you think barbeques are solely for men? Does it make you feel more of a man?

Lastly, what age range do you fall under?

1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 60+
