they thought they cud have a go at the opponent batsmen…

worcestershire got to 287 in 31.5 overs…
thats a run rate of 9 :eek:
over-confident surry had to pay the price with a defeat…

sounds like a setup match. Look at 2nd inning scorecard of Surrey. They were allowed to score 136 in 8 overs and when they were hitting best Worcestershire bowlers were not asked to bowl.
