Examples of idiotic Ego: Any one saying that they are proud of their nationality.

This doesn’t make sense, what did u accomplish by being born into a particular place ?

The question to ask here is Is your nation proud of YOU ?
Is Islam proud of YOU ?

So If someone says to me that he is proud of being, I ask what he/She has accomplished, if the answer is ah…hmm..
I end the discussion.

We humans are worthless, you don’t matter at all. Why dont you get this into your thick heads?

I see what you mean,

However theres nothing wrong with feeling some pride at the place of your birth and for the land you call home.

The issue is what we would call "Watan Parastee" Homeland worship.

We all live under the same sky, plenty of room for everyone and Islam certainly is a universal faith and does not support nationalistic sentiments, however national identity and pride in place of birth as well as tribe are not expressly forbidden in fact some would argue they are encouraged equally in Islam.
