Paramaribo, Dec 6 (ANTARA) – Surinam, which has a population of 481,246, is in need of semi-skilled people and middle class managers of various sectors.
Indonesian Ambassador to Surinam Suparmin Sunjoyo said in Paramaribo, capital of Surinam, on Monday touched on the matter in his meeting with Resettlement Director of the Population Mobility Directorate General at the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, Sugiarto Sumas, who was on a visit there as a follow up to the meeting of the Ri-Surinam Joint Commission held in Yogyakarta on November 22, 2004.
The most prospective opportunities are for small and medium enterprises, forest exploitation, handicraft articles and those sectors with an added-value to local products.
