for last few weeks, i have noticed that indian media, journalists, politicians, bloggers everyone is referring to these strikes all the time. they 200% believe that these strikes did happen. they may not trust Modi 200% but since indian army has also taken an ownership of these strikes, indians believe that the event did happen.
politicians lie all the time but but can indian army’s leadership lie too? and if strikes are a lie, why would indian army become partner of indian govt in this lie? and it is almost impossible to fake such lies at this scale for too long and if indian army is lying, it will get exposed one day and will hurt indian army a lot. so why wud they lie? under public pressure? indian army after all lying on kashmir issue to its public for so long and without any shame. when asked for some proof, indian army and politicians refused under the pretext that it is a highly confidential mission and they cannot disclose the details as they may have to conduct the mission again
Pakistanis on the other hand believe that no such event happened. why? because their army is telling them the same. we were told by our army that no such event happened whatsoever except some heavy shelling that night and that is it. we were told that there is no such proof at all. but we also know that our army lied to us so blatantly in kargil. to this day, i feel crying when i think that our army jawans died in kargil because our army leadership left them abandoned and even refused to take their dead bodies back. so is our army doing the topie drama again and hiding the srikes?
so what is going on? any thoughts? will we ever find the truth? no emotional thoughts please because that will not get us anywhere.
At best Indian troops went a couple of miles inside Kashmir for a short while. It is likely that Pakistan would have done the same without calling them surgical strikes. Indian Army was quick to state that it had no further plans for more surgical strikes to avoid escalation.
Yes there has been numerous reports about Indian version of surgical strikes - They were confirmed when Pak invited BBC, WP, NYT, UN to the location where strikes took place… Locals were also interviewed and in depth investigation was done… Conclusion..
India carried out surgical strikes alright but they were carried out from their side without crossing the LOC.
