Zalzaal, in arabic, means ‘earthquake’, just a minor highlight of one of the many things that will happen on the day of judgement. Allah SWT, while outlining the events of that day, tells us in clear words how much each of our actions matter. Even the smallest of good deeds will be rewarded, and even the smallest of bad deeds will be punished…and the discretion is upto Allah SWT alone whether he wants to forgive us or not.
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,
And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),
And man cries (distressed): ‘What is the matter with her?’-
On that Day will she declare her tidings:
For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.
On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).
Then shall anyone who has done an atom’s weight of good, see it!
And anyone who has done an atom’s weight of evil, shall see it.
Reading surahs of the 30th para I get the impression many times that it is a summing up of the concepts covered in the wholw Holy Quran. With final warnings and invitations for Mankind.Take this surah for example…
Very powerful surah indeed!
In short, simple words it addresses and sums up a whole bunch of concepts and instills fear of Allah into anyone reading it.
A quality found in many of the surah in the last para(30th)of the Quran.
This is the power of Quran.
However just a tiny comment EA,
In the translation of verse 5, ‘For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration’.I think here given the usage of the Arabic word “bi-Anna” it will be better to include the words ‘Only Because’ in front of this sentence.
And yes,Keep posting this kind of stuff
