Today after months I saw Sur Street and the whole format of the show had changed, except for the host, of course. First video they showed was a remix of an old song of Noor Jahan, Chan Sajna sung now by a new singer Ali Sher. The video was quite good, directed by Jawad Bashir.
Second was of Haroon, Dil se meinay dekha Pakistan from his album Lagan. After mehbooba this was again a great video of Haroon but not as rich and expensive as mehbooba. Nauman Ijaz and Sawera Nadeem were the two models and I believe it was their first time doing a video.
The rest were all new that I had seen a couple of times before. Mal-o-Mal, Mukhra (I just love this video) and Akhain of Fuzon. I stopped watching this show because they kept on repeating episodes and videos were old, interviews of singers lack substance and the yatem new commers off the street were all a big draw back. But now the show is again comming back, I mean today’s episode I liked it very much.
Yeah, today was definitely one of the better episodes of Sur Street. Most of the videos were new with the exception of Fuzon's "akhiyan tou olay olay".

Is Fuzon's song Akhiaan tau holay holay or olay olay?. I know holay holay means aahista aahista in Punjabi. What does olay olay mean?
