scare mongering, what repubicans do best. they are always so scared of everything. anyone who knows the system will tell you - right now the uninsured get care in the least efficient manner, with their cost of care amplified and added to the taxpayer’s bottomline. if everyone has insurance, premiums will not rise, they will fall. what will fall are jobs in the insurance industry whose only job right now is to create a smoke-screen -** does anyone here know what their insurance’s negotiated rates are for procedures? why is simple things like this not available in an open manner?**

Medical billing by itself is non-transparent to the patient. It’s so difficult to make sense out of bills. Just for a simple procedure you are likely to receive multiple bills, where any doctor who even passed by you will send a bill.
