Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

President Musharraf is such a gentleman in accepting the decisions which were given against him, he accepted like a man, but now these touts are jumping like pgs...

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

Jamiat-e-Islami petitioners are saying they will take to the streets against this judgement. It's time to lathi charge these hooligans!

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

Wholesale contempt of court by lawyers, politicians, leaders, and even judges!

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

JI's Akram Shaikh and PML Nawaz leader Javed Hashmi look totally gutted, and have refused to accept it, comparing it to Justice Munir's judgement in the 1950's

Javed Hashmi is such a hypocrite - it is this same SC that freed him from prison, and then he was saying it was a great victory for justice. Now look at him!

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

President Musharaf has proven himslef to be a great leader not only in the way he has conducted himself, but for bestowing democracy, free media and free judiciary to Pakistan.

Haters just don’t realise what a good leader Pakistan has.

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

Imran's lawyer Hamid Khan is saying that the Supreme Court has returned to the bad old days of "doctrine of necessity" and ratifying military rulers. He is also refusing to say that this judgement is in line with the constitution, and judges were pressured by the govt.

Kamran Khan of Geo reminded him that Supreme Court ruled against the government in restoring the CJ, freeing Javed Hashmi and in favour of Nawaz Sharif. So how can you say judges are not independent, just because they have thrown out your petitions?

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

These touts are simply hypocrite, have nothing to do with the progress of Pakistan, and since some one has maintained Pakistan, now its undigestable to them … thats why its all happening… they all are tested misiles and failed misiles… but this President has not only saved Pakistan from USA, india, israil but also made the fastest growing country in business…

These mullah and opposition have no ‘quality’ to even realise the achivement done in last 8 years, it need some brain to realise

My Hero is President Mushraff… he is my ideal… what a man really he is… Allah un ko lambi zindagi day aamin summa aamin… long live President Mr. Musharraf  :jhanda:

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

Since the petitions have been dismissed. There's no issue with the president holding the COAS baton. The only problem is that Gen Musharraf himself had said he'd shed his skin if/when elected. However Malik Qayyum has said a few times that the Gen can hold his COAS office as long as the new elected Pres does not appoint a new Chief. Now that raises a point. The CJCSC and VCOAS retire on 6 Oct. We can expect the names of the new VCOAS and CJCSC soon. However that will have little direct relation with the name of the new COAS; which might (hopefully) continue to be PA 6920 Pervez Musharraf, General.

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

I'm afraid you were wrong, and so was I with our earlier speculations. :)

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

Actually Shamraz the SC has not said anything, and has simply rejected all petitions. So no, there are no conditions imposed on Musharraf by the SC.

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

ahem... just like NS its not an 'official agreement' its just the undertaking ;-)

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

And I hope no detailed ruling will be issued on this case. Because it's just not important!
Just like there still hasnt been any promised detailed verdict released yet even after 2 months in the CJ restoration case.
:p

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

Review petition will be file, and full bench will be asked review the case.

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

:D Idiots. They're all exposing themselves and their real hypocrisy on all issues!

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

There is no doubt now that President and Commander-in-Chief GENERAL Pervez Musharraf has won historic legal cover for his rule - it is totally constitutional.

Expect in the coming days for the APDM to implode within, and a lot of it's constituent members flock to the government side. BB may even cancel her return now or beg Musharraf for a deal at any price. :)

Musharraf will be consolidating his Presidential powers in coming weeks, and transferring a lot of COAS powers to his Commander-in-Chief position, and then give up his wardi.

Re: Supreme Court Judgement at 2.15pm PAK time today

Yes after the election maybe.
