Unknown people closed the city today.
It makes perfect sense to take action against those who were arrested trying to close the city today. But it doesn't make sense for courts to be sub offices of PMLN.

Its not about justice, its about they are more powerful and well connected with such criminals and if police make some arrest these political parties ( not only MQM) use their position to get criminals free.
It is not about MQM's policies. Being a political party, and controversial one at that, everyone has his views about it. So if we start discussing MQM here then it is going to take pages after pages.

The media is reporting since yesterday that the city was closed by some unknown people, when it concerns other parties they have names like PMLN attacked the supreme court, or PPP has done corruption, but when it concerns MQM suddenly the media is blindfolded and then we should also believe that media does not feel threatened by them.

Please let us know how PML(N) would benefit from SC going at Altaf Bhai? Its not like PML(N) has any electoral chances in MQM's strongholds or MQM is going to win anything in PML(N)'s areas.

I'm as far away from "Nawaz's circles" as one could be. As for getting rid of the so-called leaders like Zadari and Altaf.... way to go, I say. Though you need not worry, brother, these political mafias aren't going anywhere any time soon.

^ I don't care if AH get some punishment by any court inside or out side Pakistan if he proved guilty for any charges if he wrong he must pay for it. But that contempt of court drama just making situation tense coz a lot of peoples get impressed with his speeches and instructions it's kinda reaction now two days Karachi get closed by the act of beloved honorable black spot on justice CJ Choudhry. Btw where AH prosecuted if he willing to appear in a court? In Pakistan or in England?

the people of karachi love altaf bhai thats why they have voluntarily closed their shops, no one forced them to do that.

A weakened MQM with its seats taken away by Nawaz's courts through biased delimitation, will ensure that PPP loses an ally in making the next government.
It will also ensure to politically marginalize a particular community, which is still considered outsiders by most people in the country.
