CJ himself a holy cow worshiping by blind faith. As I mentioned before in my some post he counted in few most responsible for damaging Pakistan. How can the responsibility of situation lie on MQM when it does not control the law enforcement agencies there, and nor is it supported by majority of Karachiites?

sure they have nothing in hands and thats why sector incharges of MQM get funding from thaana in the area and people go to sector incharge instead of police stations, when they face some mishaps. I think this old slogan 'MQM don't have anything in hands' is the biggest myths of our recent history

BTW, Taliban are not confined to KP or Pashtuns only. It is an ideology which is prevalent among majority of Pakistanis, and that includes the infamous Urdu speaking people.
Remember that Urdu speaking people used to support Jamat e Islami before MQM.

MQM cannot claim itself to be the representative of Urdu speaking people either, representative of Urdu speaking people in Sindh maybe (but even there some people do support other parties as well). In Punjab a sizeable population is Urdu speaking but they dont support MQM, thats why they cannot claim to be the representative of muhajers through out the country.

Yeah right. And you would also want me to believe that those who forced Karachi closure today were imported from elsewhere as well or people were so sad on Altaf event that they shut their businesses and mourned all day?
MQM goons are at times more violent than Taliban. This can be easily gathered from the fact that some newspapers are even afraid of talking about WHY Karachi closed today.

I write a lot then delete my simple answer is that I my if I'm in Karachi I go to sector incharge instead of police coz it's easy to get justice.

Its not about justice, its about they are more powerful and well connected with such criminals and if police make some arrest these political parties ( not only MQM) use their position to get criminals free.

Last night I was hearing Altaf Hussain's speech, he claimed that Mohajers sacrificed 2 million lives during partition. Really?
its really unfortunate how people , twist and distort history with absolute lies , some one should have given him the latest book by Mr Ishtiaq Ahmed Punjab ; Bloodied and Partitioned , Mr Ishtiaq has written it after 20 years of meticulous objective unbiased research , using first hand accounts of the victims as well as perpetrators also , extensively used the Secret British Papers , he has also written a few articles on it , which have appeared in the Dailytimes.com from time to time ...
the picture that emereges from it is that PUNJAB HOLUCAUST OF 47 was an "Engineered " affair , it all happened after March 47 , and started when Mulsim leaque goons slaughtered 5000 or more non-muslims in and around Rawalpindi area , that pushed Sikhs and Hindus to a point of no return ,.......and in this process ....it were actually Punjabis .... 10 lac of them , though Mr Ishtiaq sahib puts the figure between 6-8 lac but other sources put it well above 10 lac , that were killed ,....10 lac punjabis that were killed , ...beside 9.2 Million of them were forcefully displaced , 4.8 from West to East and 4.4 from East to West ,also 90,000 punjabis women were raped ..... and it all happened from March 47 onward....
we know how it happened , and to some extent why it happened , ....but the question who was actually responsible for it ....is something ....that needs answer .....
Punjabis do not talk about it , perhaps they are still in Trauma , or perhaps under the deception of a constructed national narrative , its time they start questioning Who was responsible for the PUNJAB's HOLOCAUST OF 47 .....??
.... the 3 rd June 1947 PARTITION COMMITTEE that finalized the partition plan , had 10 members , 3 English men Viceroy , Lord Ismay and a Secratary ] , 3 Congress men Nehru , Patel ,and Kripalani ] ...one Sikh representative Baldev Singh ] ...and 3 Muslim leaguers JINNAH , Liaqat , and Nishter ] ....and here is the irony ..... there was no Bengali , or for that matter no other PUNJABI either muslim or hindu ] ....yet they decided the slaughter ........... period.

^ I am not really sure about the sequence of events, although I have read from multiple sources that the massacre of Sikhs in Rawalpindi was the catalyst for what followed. Other than that there was already a lot of sectarian divisions in Punjab, especially because of the partition of the province and the traumas of migration. I personally believe that Punjab should not have been partitioned, as if it had stayed united even then it was majority muslim (over 60%).

yes you are some what right about the communal tentions , …that too started when Jinnah Sahib called for a Direct Action day in Bengal , I think Aug 46 ,…it started all the communal frenzy and hence massacres ,…first in Bengal …then elsewhere , to me that was a part of FUD [FEAR, uncetainity , deception ] strategy , FEAR was created for the survival , and it was engineered for the safe gaurding of vested interests of a few … I have posted a link to Ishtiaq Ahmed article in dailytimes , how it was engineered in Punjab … and post MARCH 47 …before it , its true that there were concerns ,…but every one was expecting a solution .
