Guys always like their wife to be supportive. Sometime the decision or plan (major or minor) they take/make is not according the choice of their wife. How can she make him feel she is still supportive and also ask him to stay away from it. Some judgemental Men think if their wife isnt agree to what they are saying/ doing, she is not being supportive!! though a wife IS but she has her own perceptions/views too and she can not be agreed to every single thing!!
My question is not only from Men but also Married women specially ones, who have spent more than 5 years of their marriage and can speakup with their experience!!
if I don´t agree with my husband, he gets agree with what I suggest, but if he is not agree with me over something I don´t force him and let him do what he likes. But I explain him my point of view too in a polite manner.

don't you feel bad that he didn't listen to you? women have this attribute ingrained in them...that is...to be heard and be be complied with! :D
