A few years ago I would have been in complete agreement with you on the death penalty. Then I read about the governor of Illinois doing an investigation of the death row cases in Illinois after a great number were overturned due to the usage of new DNA evidence. Reading about the Illinois system pretty much convinced me that the system for determining guilt was unreliable enough that the death penalty itself was unreliable. Also, as a Christian, there is that commandment, thou shalt not kill.

that has to be the funniest thing said here in a while. Now wait I’m sure this commandment still holds except when people are sitting on oil and are Muslims. Then you can kill thousands of them without any remorse.

What is the need to bring in religion in every thread? What is this nasha for Sharyat. Recently a Muslim in Tehran killed one Sikh. What was the punishment he got? The court ordered him to pay some compensation money to the Sikh family. This was the Sharyat justice.
And, what if a Sikh had killed a Muslim in Tehran?

Two Questions
1: If you have a woman Khalifah/Ayotallh (pick your fav descriptor) and she has a period and needs to make a desicion. According to Sharia she needs to take a breather of till the period is ovah. What does she do?
2: If a Woman can be a Caliph can a Ahmadi who doesn't believe that Mirza Sahib as the last prophet (rather Prophet Mohammad pbuh as the last one) can he become a caliph in the Islami Jamoiuro Pakitan)??
