After some healthy debate over here, the position has tilted towards ban on car racing. Would like to know if you support this proposed initiative.
As you know car racing involves vehicles going around a raceway multiple times at “high rate of speed”. It also requires hours of practice with additional fuel consumption.
Since it is the poor who mostly get affected by pollution and associated climate change, what is the moral thing to do?

I think the gentleman in Pakistan is “driving” home the message that race cars consume lot of fuel during practice sessions.

It’ll never happen. And street racing is illegal anyway in my country but that doesn’t stop people doing it. I actually miss street racing, and I miss my old kitted up car. Those were the days. Anyway, fast forward 50yrs and most cars won’t be petrol reliable anymore anyway.
