“When My servants ask about Me, I am indeed close to them. I listen to the prayer of every supplicant, when he calls on Me. Let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe in Me, so that they may walk in the right way” Qur’an (2:186).
In addition to formal five daily prayers, Muslims “call upon” <I_I_II throughout the day through different supplications (duas). most of them are mentioned in the Quran and others we learn from the Sunnah of Muhammad :saw:
So i would like to use this thread to post Supplications from the Quran, feel free to contribute but do mention the complete source as in the which surah and the which verse is the supplication in.

Yet you it is who slay your people and turn a party from among you out of their homes, backing each other up against them unlawfully and exceeding the limits; and if they should come to you, as captives you would ransom them-- while their very turning out was unlawful for you. Do you then believe in a part of the Book and disbelieve in the other? What then is the re ward of such among you as do this but disgrace in the life of this world, and on the day of resurrection they shall be sent back to the most grievous chastisement, and Allah is not at all heedless of what you do.
I read it this morning and Israeli-Palestinain issue came to mind.
