believe to koi bhi nahi karta, they are just funnymy mom alwayz used to tell me dont walk under trees in shaam/night time with ur hair open..cause u get posessed or something..
my mother did nt let me buy sapphire coz she says bhari phathan hai means if it wont suit you,u can go bankrupt or there will be an accident etc

i heard:
raat ko baal sanwaarnay se churail aajati hai 
raat ko jhaaru bhi nai martay (dunno why)
indians believe ke raat ko nakhun nahi katnay chahiye (no idea why)
According to indian myth (their religious mythology) when a baby is sleeping, the mother shoud always face him when she lies down to sleep (how odious)

good topic, very good to create awareness around it.
the superstitions make people become really narrow minded.
it is not good to feel that way.
but, sometimes peoples' induced or heard fears make them act like so.
these are common: the black cat being ill fortunate if it crosses infront of anyone,
the number 13 being ill fated
& the breaking of glass being not good, too.
some hotels r so superstitious that they don't have a 13th floor...like the elevator has 12 then 14...
and a restaurant is so superstitious that if the table has only 13 ppl they will give u another guest...

What's with the number 13? OH there's this one that goes like,''raat ko nahaya nahin kartay'' and then the most vexatious> ''nakhun neechay giray aur jo uss par qadam rakhay us sey larayi ho jaati hai'' that's ''Pakistani-cally'' speaking.From Islam's point of view,superstition has no place in Islam whatsoever,because it has always been a Hindu tradition and it is a sin to believe in superstitions

I recently heard something really weird 
Baal latka ke nahi sona chahye (ab baal kaise latka kay sotay hain I have no idea)
Charpai dykhi hy kabhi os per so sakti hu bal latka ker double ya single bed per nahi:D
