nandulala what i've heard is that jinns get attracted to long hair, especially when its open...
and its said that jinns inhabit tree tops or khullay maidaanz...
the tree tops idea is debatable tho coz jinns dont coinhabit places with mankind...they live in deserted faraway places...

its funny kay knowing most of these things are superstitions, they've been drilled so deep into our minds kay we still follow them. :)
I'm in the process of raising a little girl. And I'm going to leave out all these superstitions. I'll post the results in about 10 yrs or so. Come back then and I'll tell you if it made any difference.
