I was driving in countryside today and for some reason I started thinking about sun,moon,planets their a/synchronous movement,earth being far from sun in winter etc…I stumbled back into religion and God. Since I am exposed to the western religions and familiar with the concept of Allah, Holy Father, Adonai being the creator of mankind and planets and everything that we see dont see, know and dont know etc; it occured to me that even though Allah has said in Quran this is the final communication with mankind and next time it will be on doomsday. But what if God, Allah, Adonai being the omnipotent and powerful changed his mind(if that applies, since we are dealing a super natural being) and addressed all Humans directly using some supernatural medium forget CNN,FoX I am talking direct communication with all inhabitants of planet earth and if life exists on other planets. We are talking about God so it is possible. Now if this super natural being comes and says to drop all holy books and gives us a new book new rules. He doesn’t reconfigure us so our cognitive and thought process,reasoning etc is left intact, just humans witnessing something super natural.
Question:
Would Christians, Muslims, Jews treat that as satan or God?

Firstly my honest answer would be... I don't know exactly.
Would depend on the message expressed.
If message illustrated goodness, sweetness, values, morals, care and loving kindness..I would probobly listen.
If message was satanic in nature I don't believe that any of ^ characteristics would be illustrated.

On a more serious note
What will be interesting is whether the Christians, Jews and Muslims unite in the face of this "Evil" The last thing anybody in a position of power (religious Authority)wants is to relinquish that power.
If you take a look at history you'll find those people in power at a time when there was a change in public opinion or belief survived if they changed to the "winning" side ....ie The emperor Constantine accepting Christianity.
I remember reading a line in the Quran (many years ago , so please dont quote me )stating something along the lines of Allah being the master of all the WORLDS.
I feel that from a religious point of view it is conceivable that Our Almighty has created all kinds of other worlds...
From a non religious point of view, I feel that if Earth managed to get created and ended up in 2005 with little people spending their time talking to unknowns using a strange thing called cyberspace via bits of plastic and metal I feel that it is possible that another planets inhabitants may have used their time more constructively.
As for the Book they hand over , If the rules
state things like the ten commandments are defunct and we should do the opposite ..it is likely to be taken up by the inhabitants of the West (depending on howmuch free press and advertising they get)people like the born again Christians, mormons and those from the Muslim world etc would class them as Satanic Demons and whip out the relevant lines from various holy books to back up their claims.
Im sorry if Ive waffled , but half way through I kinda forgot the question.
Anyway I suppose the most important thing is that they tell us is that Elvis lives and who really killed diana.
Oh and also , how they get to impliment those rules...if they stood on a street corner and handed the books out I guess they'd get thrown into the next trash can with a little murmer of "wierdo"

Change of minds is a humanistic chatacteristic…If god had change of minds…everything around you wouldn’t be so perfect. We need to understand what is God first and what makes a muslim (belief in Quran).

well from past experience i reckon He'd come in for some serious opposition. Cos obviously Jews/Xtians/Muslims/whatever would think they know better than Him. For example, Moses told the good news of the coming of Jesus, Jews rejected him and his message, Jesus foretold of the coming of Muhammed, the Xtians and the Jews both rejected him and so on...

What if this super natural being raised all the prophets and showed them to humanity as proof, I mean we were not there when the prophets came so we wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway.

Interesting enough God has done it for the past 2000 years, according to Christians.
After Jesus Christ was taken up, God send the Holy Spirit to dwell with us and teach/talk to each and everyone that opens his/her heart to God's direct voice. This is exactly as He did with Moses, Abraham, and the other prophets.
We know how wo/mankind greeted this. Some refused to listen. Some redicule it. Some even went on and decided they need new and different teachings. Some ignore it. Very few do listen and even fewer hear the voice very well.
If a voice therefor do come out of the sky teaching something, all Christians should/must check the teaching with what the Holy Spirit teach them. Any teaching that clash with the Holy Spirit's teaching, should be discarded as God can not be in conflict with Himself.

You bring up a good point about the earlier medium as in prophets as in people.. I was not aware that "Holy Spirit dwelling" thing but that wouldn't be God anyway.

That’s the beauty of being a muslim. I can reject anyone or anything that claims to be a god in my lifetime. It’s a nice hypothetical situation but doesn’t coincide with muslim beliefs. How hard is that to understand

Verizon, that is the point. Always some humans have manipulated the fears of humans and established some or other kind of faiths. In some cases these faiths have successfully crossed the regional boundries and in most cases the sect died with death of the inventor, call him prophet or guru, that is your choice.
Today if any so called prophet tries to establish a new faith, he will have to be supper cunning.

No problem with changing rules and laws w.r.t. sacrificial, social, medical, or general behaviour. It has been done in the past. Conflict will be where pure sin as per God’s previous indication are changed into being in order. For example, lying, murder, stealing, etc. becomes OK.
Please explain why the Holy Spirit’s indwelling can’t be from God according to your reasoning.
