Super Excited Eight

I just went through the list of the upcoming fixtures in super 8 and NOT a single fking interesting match that would grab my attention. Even the Aus-SA match can’t take place. What a piece of shiiiiit World Cup. BC iss liyay chaar saal wait kiyaa thaa?

Re: Super Excited Eight

iss say tu achha tha Mr. Cricketer peagent karwa laitay
It would have been more fun watching these good for nothing sattay baaz, tullay baas etc etc, doing a cat walk in their schwimming trunks

Re: Super Excited Eight

Seriously man....how I wish India and Pak were there...Forget about their loss to BD and Ireland respectively...but they would certainly have been much better than these joker teams in the Super 8. Plus the stands would have been full ...and there would be excitement all around.

Re: Super Excited Eight

Bhaand Saaheb, do you really wanna see Inzi in swimming tights? kuch tau khof rakho miaan!

Re: Super Excited Eight

Some1, Honestly speaking, I didn't realize that I would miss Team India so much. My interest in this WC would have been a lot more if India was still alive. Just the prospect of it losing to Australia, South Africa and Ireland waters my mouth. :D

Bharee dunya ko weraan paoo gaay , jub hum nahi hoon gaay :(

Re: Super Excited Eight

I think getting rid of India and Pak in the first round is all set up by the ICC. They wanted to teach both cricket boards a lesson because they have been talking big lately - Asian power block, media giant and the other BS.

Re: Super Excited Eight

In actuality it is the mercurial sides that make tournaments spicy and interesting. You never know what is going to happen next.
Right now you have complete predictability. Only mercuria side was WI untill they adopted the motto of "kalia in trouble".
Almost every game that you see now is predictable with certainty.

Re: Super Excited Eight

Yeah NZ/SA/SL/AU semies.

And most likely NZ/AU final, as I predicted before tournament started.

Re: Super Excited Eight

A real BS tournament. Far too many one sided games, and in it i include Pak vs Ireland and Ind vs BD.

Re: Super Excited Eight

Super-8's are a big yawn right now. Ever since Pakistan is out, frankly, my personal interest in the WC is reduced to a passing check-the-score level now.

For a true cricket aficionado, though, hopefully New Zealand's last three games will be fun. They are playing Sri Lanka, South Africa and Australia (12, 14 and 20th, respectively). Also SL's game against Aus will be interesting.

Re: Super Excited Eight

Some cricketing teams did not have to play the first qualifying round for the World Cup because they got a free pass due to test match status.

Some of these teams were shown up during the second round and India and Pakistan could not make the grade.

During the third round the men and boys are further separated and it becomes clear by the day that the four top ODI teams in the world are AUS, RSA, SL, and NZ. It is therefor fitting that they take part in the semi-finals.

NO team should have a free pass into the third round just because they have a lot of supporters. No matter how hard these supporters cry and rave. I believe this World Cup's setup is perfect. Money should not be the deciding factor but rather ability and determination. India and Pakistan did not have these.

Re: Super Excited Eight

who is asking free pass anyway, we are not interested becoz our teams are not in contention and would care less about who wins the cup.

Thanks for the news.
