I was using the pink and yellow sunsilk conditoner (bought from Metro, Pakistan) for a couple of weeks and noticed that I had SO MUCH hairfall using it…it was actually so frightening! The adverts claim that the conditioner reduces hairfall from 100 to 2! My friend also complained about that conditoner to me and the awful effect it had on her hair too!
I have stopped using that awful conditioner now and am now back to using my old conditioner.
Anyone here had the same experience?

you know what you dont have to use the conditioner on roots.!!!
use it only on the tips
i have heard using conditioner on your roots causes a lot of hair fall
i personally use sunsilk and it really suits me........but make sure you dont apply conditioner to your roots AT ALL!!! just the tips :)

i used to use it on 1/2 my hair and tips...never from roots!

maybe i am left under-educated ... but i use a conditioner because it disentangles my hair and keeps them from drying out ... which usually happens if i dont use one ... so why keep it away from roots?
what are the other purposes of a conditioner?

umm becuz normally condiitoner makes ur hairs really soft........and if you use it for roots and then wash and brush ur hairs foran se just as most ppl do u will lose lots of hairs
and to condition roots you can always put on some yogurt and oil and egg white :) they dont harm roots
and conditioners like sunsilk do have chemicals in them so i guess thats why....... :S
oh and i once used to put on mayonese on roots too :) i heard thats a good conditioner for the roots .... lol but since the prices exploded i never used it again :D

One of my teachers once told, Conditioner can block hair growth if you use it on the roots. It forms a thin film on the scalp which can result in hair blockage. I don't how true it is, but she was a beautician. After i heard her say that i only used conditioner on my hair tips.
