Who really understands how important it is to protect your face from sun damage?
If you’re getting facials, peels, using fairness creams or even exfoliating for that matter…you cannot live without sunscreen.
Its not just about tanning or not getting darker…its about the overall health of your skin, hyperpigmentation AND premature aging you can prevent by using it every single day.
Use it for the rest of your life, thank me when you’re 50 and people tell you your face looks not a day over 30.
I do. I can't fathom stepping out without putting something on my face, be it for long term usage or something short-term (like products with some SPF in it) I know I will still get tan, but I'd rather protect my skin from other harmful effects. I figure, I haven't done anything for many many year, so I might as well start now to stop the damage while I can.
what is the best spf number to wear??? is 15 very little? Also, it wears off after a while right? how often should we reapply?? I put it on in the morning which is my oil of olay moisturizer with spf 15....I don't reapply because I wear makeup on top if it...
I personally wear SPF 50...some primers come with SPF in them too.
I have heard you should be reapplying it every 20 minutes.
That's what I mean...isn't it almost impossible to apply every 20 minutes??? Isn't it better not wearing it at all? What's an easier way to have sunblock stay on all day?
I use sunblock that's spf 60 and i use it every day and if i'm out most of the day i reapply it every hour. it's been my routine ever since high school.....but now my job is mostly indoors in the AC staring at a pc or helping fellow students with PC probs, thank god i don't have an outdoor job thanking God
if you are using fairness creams you are stripping your skin of the melanin ti uses to protect your skin from harmful uv rays and you could develop skin cancer when you are older because of it... just saying
