Sunnat and 'Ahle-Sunnat'

Re: Sunnat and 'Ahle-Sunnat'

Salamun alaikum

You qoute the hadith in these words but a lot of schollars including your shia brothers say that Prophet SAWAW has said that "* O People, no prophet or messenger will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the Quraan) and my Itrat (Ofsprings of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray. " Even I have recently heard renouned speaker Dr. Tahirul Qadri on a TV speach last week quoting this hadith exactly in the above words

So there can be a lot of debate. The hadith I may present may be not accaptable to you and similarly the Rivayat you may quote may not be accaptable to me. So there is atleast one thing common between all the muslims and it is Quraan. Look into it and try to understand what Quraan is saying. It definitely not means that I deny the importance of Hadith but the source of hadith can be disputable between one school of thought to others.

So what I am trying to say that keep open your mindset and analyze the scriptures in the light of Holy Quraan.
