Sunehrey Din is one of the best plays of PTV. Making a drama on PMA life inside PMA with actual cadets and officers acting in the play is indeed a commendable effort by Mohsin Ali and Shoaib Mansoor. Lots of funny scenes in the play e.g.

  1. (Cook saying about his fatty boss) Agar samnay dunia ka naqsha rakh dein tou seb se pehley Roos per haath maaray ga.
  2. Aap ka gher ke baher kisi ne ghalti se Akhlaq Ahmed likh dia hai
  3. Cadets singing and changing the song as: Mera mahi chel chabila haye ni Major ni Brigadier. Someone comments: Yaar Major mein Brigadier wazan mein pooray naheen aa rahey. Safeer comments: Yaar Major aur Brigadier belt mein pooray naheen aatay, wazan mein kesey pooray aaiyen gay.
  4. Staff saying to Faraz: Pata naheen aap ka naam Faraz kis ne rakha hai, mujhey tou her taraf nasheb hi nasheb nazar aa raha hai
  5. Hameed Wyne showing he is listening to old songs whereas he is infact listening to modern English music.

and lots of other scenes too from this great play :)

yup. Its a classic. Mujhe wo line yaad aa rahi hai jab cadets ke kaan check kie ja rahe hote hain aur saleem sheikh doctor se kehta hai ‘itne ghor se mat dekhen, under sofia Laurene nahin bethi hui’ :smiley:

what a wonderful drama it was

this post also reminds me of Alpha-Bravo-Charlie that was another classic.
