Our family has a tradition of sunday brunch- the only time all of us actually get together and eat together ![]()
But lately we are getting bored of the menu and i was wondering if you all had any suggestions.
We do the omelette, keema or kabab, aaloo ki bhujia, fresh juice and paratha- some times the aaloo gets switched with channay and paratha with poori or bhatura.

A fritata or quiche goes really well for our desi brunches. You can also make spinach and ricotta rolls in phyllo dough. Absolutely ![]()

Blackpudding is a type of sausage amde with pigs blood
I lik ethe sound of that let me say it again
Sausage made of PIGS BLOOD
admitidly its dried up pigs blood, mixed with animal fat and salt and herbs and some meat and ofal and grain
but basically PIGS BLOOD
anyway its delicious.. but full bad cholesterol and thats why I only eat it once a year at christmas

Do you have the recipe for dum ka qeema? Thanks!
Re: Sunday Brunch ideas
Sooraj-mukhi, have you ever tried working with puff pastry sheets? You can change up the menu a little or a lot by using these, they're simple, easy, and delicious! You can make puffy pastries filled with keema, vegetables, or even go the sweet way, filling them with sondesh, egg halwa, or even a store bought one. You can prepare them ahead of time and just keep them in the freezer for later. I tend to serve them with tea when I have guests coming over. Let me know if you want the recipes, and I'll be sure to post 'em.
