Dhuup aa.Nkho.n tak aa pahu.Nchii hai raat guzar ga_ii jaanaa.N

Bhor samay tak jis ne hame.n baaham ulajhaaye rakhaa
Vo albelii resham jaisii baat guzar ga_ii jaanaa.N

Sadaa kii dekhii raat hame.n is baar milii to chup ke se
Khaalii haath pe rakh ke kyaa sauGaat guzar ga_ii jaanaa.N

Kis ko.npal kii aas me.n ab tak vaise hii sar-sabz ho tum
Ab to dhuup kaa mausam hai barasaat guzar ga_ii jaanaa.N

Log na jaane kin raato.n kii muuraade.n maa.Ngaa karate hai.n
Apanii raat to vo jo tere saath guzar ga_ii jaanaa.N

I am like an Open Book Except for the few pages of my past, My life is an empty book. It takes the shape of a mystery, To me it does at least. For I cannot tell what happens next, Too many cliffhangers and too much suspense. But its clues all lead eventually to the same place, Unfortunately it does not say where. It only says get the next book, For in this one you’ ve ran out of room.
