Sunblock

Re: Sunblock

I religiously started using sunblock everyday and yes I cringe at not starting in my teens! But ladies sunscreen is a must...u will thank yourself when you get in your 40's.

I use Neutrogena age shield sunblock (spf 110) for my face and love it!! It's around 12 bucks for a tube and surprisingly lasted for 3-4 months...I put it on after my moisturizer and let it sink in for 10 minutes I then do my makeup...I've never broken out from it either

Ladies also make sure to put sunscreen on your necks as well!! You dont want to have a young looking face with a wrinkly neck...yuck!

Re: Sunblock

So I think we've established that sun protection is a must, but how do we know if we're applying enough? How much should one apply to get enough protection? I normally squeeze out a pea-sized amount and mix it with my moisturiser in my hands, but now I've started to wonder if it's enough? Also, do we need to reapply it throughout the day?

Re: Sunblock

^ Just to add, I normally do my wu’du several times a day, so would I need to start reapplying my sun protection after each wash? :bummer:

Re: Sunblock

^ unfortunately yes.

Re: Sunblock

has anyone tried shiseido's sun protection cream for the face? there are a lot of good reviews on it online. apparently it gives a matte finish to the face, so its perfect for oily skin. its a bit pricey but im thinking of getting it!
also, i heard we should avoid sunscreen with oxybenzone because it can cause cell damage and cancer.. hoping someone knowledgeable can provide more insight on this?

Sunblock

I just got the Aveeno face SPF 100+
Been using it for a couple of days now. Hopefully it won't make me break out like anything and everything lately!
