Sun block!

please suggest affordable sun blocks for sensitive skin.

Cheap is a relative term. But I use L'Oreal's Ombrelle SPF 60 (the Protection Milk for arms and legs and Face obviously for my face). My niece who has eczema uses the same and it does not react badly with her skin.

Re: Sun block!

For sensitive skin, I would recommend Jane Iredale's Powder me SPF 30. It's a powder and has really good sun protection. I found this to finally work for my very very sensitive skin as I always broke out with any other sunblock. I also chose to go with this because It's rated #21 on the skindeep website in terms of how effective it is as a sunscreen. It's not too cheap but def. worth it for the health of you skin!

Re: Sun block!

I use and love Neutrogena's ultra sheer dry touch sunblock and the best thing is it comes in upto SPF 100!

Re: Sun block!

^wow tht is high

Does it leave you look ghastly white? Last summer, I bought it in SPF 70 and boy, did I regret buying it although it wasn't too expensive. Totally hated it.

Re: Sun block!

to bad u cant buy Neutrogena sun blocks in the UK

Re: Sun block!

^yeah it's pretty high, i think SPF 70 is good enough where i live...

not at all....did you use the 'ultra sheer' one?? it just dissolves into my skin without making my face look white!

Re: Sun block!

Clinique's Cityblock SPF 40...doesnt leave a white film on your face either. And its only $17.

Bioderma Photoderm or Sun Sense, both are tinted gels and don't leave any white film or residue.

it comes in different spf's,i bought spf 30 n loved it(no alteration 2 the complexion)!

I wanna get this one. as I have to use high sunblock becoz of my laser treatments. but they don't have it in the UK so am thinking of buying it off Ebay. does it leave u with tht ghostly white skin afterwards?

Re: Sun block!

I REALLY REALLY NEED TO KNOW A GOOD SUNBLOCK FOR SWIMMING?! I CURRENTLY USE BANANA BOAT BUT SOMEONE TOLD ME IT SUCKS THOUGH IT WORKS FINE FOR ME. ARE THERE ANYOTHER BETTER ONES?

Re: Sun block!

SunSense in really good... used it last yr when I went to Saudi.... but Boots own brand sunblock is actually better..... it's called Soltan... the one for the face is really nice.... no white marks and very easy to blend in... prefer it to Sunsense.....
hate L'oreal sun blocks.....

Hi-five to that!

Re: Sun block!

hmnnn

Honestly, neutrogena is one sunblock that I was apprehensive about because its so cheap. I used a clarins sunblock for a while in between and there was no difference besides the price. I switched back about 2 years ago and now use ultrasheer SPF55 in NY. I have used SPF75 and 85 when I visited the south and none of them leave any ghostly color after they settle.
