WWE Championship: Bradshaw vs Undertaker

First, JBL hit a fallaway slam. Then came a powerbomb. Lastly, the WWE Champion took the overmatched Philly youth out of his boots with a Clothesline from Hell. JBL won the recent SmackDown! match without even breaking a sweat, and he congratulated himself on having eliminated all possible SummerSlam competition … save one notable Superstar. The Undertaker was more than happy to fill the championship void, announcing to JBL and the world that he’ll challenge for the WWE Championship at the Toronto pay-per-view on Aug. 15. He made the declaration with a chokeslam, leaving JBL unconscious in the middle of the ring. It was a quick and calamitous turnaround for the WWE Champion, who went from no SummerSlam opponent to a future date with The Phenom all in the blink of an eye.

JBL had to cope with Eddie Guerrero’s quickness and guile, but never as WWE champion has JBL had to face a man who could match his girth and power. What will JBL do when he can?t muscle his opponent around the ring? Can the Undertaker devise a winning game plan to claim the most coveted SmackDown! prize? Whatever the answers, it’s certain this SummerSlam contest will match two big men with superior strength, skill and size – with the WWE Championship on the line.

World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Benoit vs Randy Orton

Ever since Triple H lost the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XX, Evolution united to ensure that The Game once again wore the belt around his waist. The faction’s actions, however, have been unsuccessful, as Chris Benoit has held the title since the March pay-per-view.

Now, it appears as though Evolution may, in fact, have another opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship. However, it won’t be the faction’s leader, Triple H, going for the gold. It will be the youngster Randy Orton. Is Orton’s time now? Can he actually defeat the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam?

Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle

It was enough of a shock when a masked man cost Eddie Guerrero his shot at the WWE Championship during a recent SmackDown! Steel Cage Match. But Latino Heat was furious and fired up when he found out that intruder was actually “injured” Kurt Angle.

But none other than Mr. McMahon has paved Eddie’s way to revenge. Mr. McMahon fired General Manager Angle for his wheelchair masquerade before placing him back on the active roster and into this SummerSlam blockbuster. Guerrero is incensed and at the top of his game. Angle, on the other hand, is coming off a long layoff, albeit a fraudulent one. Will the Olympic Champion be able to work off the rust and grapple his way to a pay-per-view win, or will the quickness and cunning of Latino Heat prove too much? We’ll find out in Toronto.

Intercontinental Championship: Edge vs Batista vs Chris Jericho

On Sunday, August 15, Edge faces his toughest challenge as Intercontinental Champion. Not only must he fend off Evolution’s might Batista, but he also must face former Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho.

These three RAW Superstars have been engaged in quite a hate triangle of late. Batista, who has been targeted, along with the rest of Evolution, by Edge, recently took Chris Jericho out of action with a concussion. Jericho, who eliminated Edge from the No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal, wants revenge for the head injury sustained at the hands of the Evolution member.

All three men will look to carry out their personal agendas at SummerSlam. However, only one man will win this Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship. Find out who that man is on pay-per-view, August 15.

Triple H vs Eugene

The Triple H/Eugene saga has finally reached its boiling point. No longer are these two RAW Superstars playing games with each other or pretending to be friends. Now, Triple H and Eugene are bitter enemies.

According to Triple H, Eugene cost The Game the World Heavyweight Championship on more than one occasion. Now, the Evolution leader wants revenge. On Sunday, August 15, Triple H will step into the ring with Eugene, in an attempt to gain that revenge.

Despite a lack of professional experience, Eugene is very skilled in the ring. If The Game is to get the revenge he wants, he will have to be on his game, as Eugene has shown to be no pushover.

Will The Game get the revenge he is looking for? Or will Eugene pull off the victory of his young career? Watch SummerSlam, live on pay-per-view, to find out.

Till Death Do Us Part Match

Girls begin to fantasize about their wedding day at a very young age. They dream about the day their daddy gives them away to be married and start a family of their own.

Lita has both of these, however, they have become less than joyous occasions for her. In an attempt to save her boyfriend Matt Hardy from a beating at the hands of Kane, Lita slept with the Big Red Monster. By doing this, Kane agreed to keep his hands off of Matt. Unfortunately, however, Lita became pregnant. The young Diva would like to believe that Matt is the father of her baby, but she is not 100 percent sure who the father is.

Despite knowing that he may not be the father of Lita’s baby, Matt asked Lita to marry him. She happily accepted. But with the engagement came more threats from Kane. Lita soon realized that the only way to get rid of the monster was to give into his needs once again. As a result, Lita accepted a stipulation for the match between Kane and Matt Hardy at SummerSlam - if Matt wins, Kane leaves them alone. But if Kane wins, he marries Lita instead of Matt.

So who will Lita be starting her new family with? Order SummerSlam on pay-per-view to find out.

Man i need money to go there. Lately toronto has been a pretty busy place for wwe. By ratio, i think more canadians watch wwe than americans.
so any wayz, i'll tell u the matches i dont give a crap about:

JBL vs Undertaker - Both are pretty crap when it comes to wrestling but for some reason undertaker is real popular up here. dont kno why.

Triple H vs Eugene - Another story line that has overstayed its welcome

Kane vs Matt Hardy- I dont even kno why this match is booked in the first place. Never followed thier feud but since it involves kane, i bet im not missing on anything.

Match to look for:

Kane vs Eddie - Eventhough to title belt is not involved here, this match deserves to be the main event. They are two of the best wrestlers wwe has to offer right now and for people who have little or no interest in wrestling, i would recommend them to watch only this match and it'll make u a fan of wrestling for life.

Predictions for matches i care for:

Chris Benoit v Randy Orton - Winner - Chris benoit simply because u cant make him lose in canadian soil.

Eddie v Kurt - Winner -Kurt with some sort of interfernce from someone.

Triple Threat Match - Winner - Edge or Batista. Can't predict much deeper than that.

So thats all.
Peace.

so u don’t give a crap about matches yet posted your views? :hoonh:

i can’t wait for Summerslam - and here is my take on…

Benoit VS Orton

i think that Orton is going over here to start up friction in Evolution, or they could have HHH cost him the title to set up friction - personally i would like to see an Elimination chamber or a six man hell in a cell because i think that Benoit vs Orton will not garner much Heat - in a Six man hell in a cell they could have HHH pedigree Benoit but have Orton steal the Win from HHH to start off an evolution breakup.

UNDERTAKER Vs JBL

i think that UnderTaker will take the belt from JBL eventhough i like JBL - If JBL wins it will be a really big screwjob as i can’t see Taker jobbing out clean yet to Bradshaw.

Kurt Angle vs Guerrero

i think Guerrero will go over again here

HHH vs Eugene

HHH will win - i can’t see him jobbing to Eugene after Eugene has cost him two championship matches - Eugene is a good upper midcarder but not main event material - and they did a good enough build with him that losing to HHH is not going to hurt if the match is competitive.

Edge Vs Y2J (i really hope)

This was kinda hinted as Y2j eliminated edge from the battle royal Monday - i hope Y2J goes over because the pop will be insane if he does - But i think they are grooming Edge for a huge Main Event Push..

When did i say that all the matches booked for summerslam were crap. Its only the ones i mentioned that i dont care about. The rest are most definitely gonna be highlights of the year.

aight - thanks for clearing it up the crap.. :D

what guys...u havent seen it yet..i saw it 4 days back....anyways, here r the results ...

JBL vs. Undertaker
Undertaker was intimidated by JBL and OJ to use the championship belt to his advantage...unluckily the referee (who was down for quite some time) saw it and disqualifies taker....JBL retains the championship....honsetly, JBL sux...

Wolverine vs. The Legend Killer
I have always hated this guy for his arrogance, but on this particular night, he proved his greatness by winning the championship in a square and fair match...no intervention from evolution, no other incident of misconduct....it was a clean fight, and the legend killer delivered the RKO to become the youngest champ in the history of WWE....and the best part...benoit shook his hands at the end in appreciation...and orton seems to have become a good guy...no member of evolution was out even at the end to congratulate him....seem like we have a fight coming up between orton and the game...

Latino Heat vs. The Gold Medalist
In a tough match (and ofcourse some help from Luther Reighns), U-Suck medalist beat gurrerro....but the fight was awsome...gurrerro couldnt believe it...is it the end of rivalary between the two??

Intercontinetal Championship
Edge looked like an underdog in the match, but he did retain his championship by pinning Y2J...

The Game vs. The Mentally Retarded
The Game (despite taking some heavy beating from Eugene) was able to deliver a pedigree and win the match at the end....thank you Nature Boy for ur help...btw, HHH never dominated Eugene in the whole match...

Till Death Do Us Apart
As predicted, Kane beat MH v.1...only to find LITA running away from him in fear....

Ha Ha … The good ol’ memories.

We posted that BEFORE Summerslam.

so newayz, it was a pretty gud PPV. Turning orton a face looked a bit early but thts ok. but man you have got to remove tht belt from JBL as soon as possilbe. how the hell do they expect ppl to watch smackdown when all they see is jbl wearing tht belt around his waist all night long. He gets way too much air time than he deserves.

I haven’t enjoyed a ppv in a while.. but honestly I enjoyed this one.. there was a lot of predictability.. but i loved seeing Orton win with the RKO.. benoit shaking his hand after the match was class too.. i thought there was a lot of respect given to both wrestlers but after that - i saw Evolution beating the crap of Randy on Monday Night RAW - Triple H is clearly the evil man alive. :mad2:

undertaker slipped on the blood after chokeslamming JBL through his paper roof limo.. he tried to make it seem intentional but he clearly bailed.. match wasn’t anything special.. the crowd sure got into it though.. while they did the wave that is.. didn’t seem to care about the match too much..

diva dodgeball was a joke.. that blonde girl for the no namers was the only one who actually did anything.. but it was still sad..

the angle match was awesome.. very well done i thought

the eugene match was so predictable..

when are they going to let batista win a title.. he is clearly a beast.. although he seems to lack true wrestling experience.. ie. when he couldnt fall out of the ring on the first try, getting tangled in the ropes, then needing a “big punch” from edge to finally suceed in falling outside.. i think he could win a title but wouldn’t be able to have good long title matches until he gains more big time experience

the best part of the night i thought was how the crowd reacted to things.. from the chanting for the spanish announcers table to booing the face wrestlers, i thought it was about time that fans made decisions for themselves on who to cheer for.. not how the wwe writers want them to.. the commentators were trying to rationalize what was going on.. but it was clear that WWE didn’t predict for the crows to be so unpredictable.. maybe someone else will have another opinion on that but thats what the people i watched it with thought too..

The Game Responds:

*I was there live. Orton just rules the school; he is a real star, I'm telling you. People, That Is All.*
