Ship Your Gear Ahead: it may cost you some but if you are sick and tired of baggage delays, losses, not to mention lugging those heavy bags around, check out www.sportsexpress.com or www.luggagefree.com. They will pick your bags and ship them to a hotel or resort before you even leave home.
Visit The TSA Website: To find out how long the security line might be, go to www.tsa.gov. If you want latest updates on your cell phone, visit mobile.orbitz.com.
4.** Use Your Phone, Not Feet:** Flight is canceled or delayed and you are stuck at the airport? Rather than standing in a long line , use your phone to reschedule a flight or to get wait-listed. Store the airline 800 number on your cell phone ahead of time.
any tip to get cheap tickets in the busy summer months?
all liquid and gel stuff should be in clear bottles, and should not be more than 100 mL in amount. those bottles should then go in clear plastic zip-top bags. that means perfumes, lip glosses, shampoos, shaving gels etc etc. medicine should be like decent amount. enough for a day. and ofcourse don’t carry your firearms and your box cutters in your purse
Lifey, TSA ask you to follow what they 3-1-1 for carry-ons Rule
3 ounce bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz.
Nearly all the perfumes and cologne gift sets come with 1.7 fl oz bottle. That is something that you can carry. In short, whatever you can fit in 1 quart size bag, as long as no gel or liquid is more than 3 fl. oz
so we're allowed ONE BOTTLE, and ONE zip top bag per passenger?
No, not one bottle. you can have your moisturizer, face wash, perfume, body spray .. but in clear bag .. and yes they say one quart size bag, however I noticed that they are not very stricts about that .. I've taken gallon size bag also and they did not object ...
but yes, it is one bag per passanger in carry on bags
rest of the stuff, you can always carry in your check in luggage
and the farecast thingamajig refuses to predict for me
