Liverpool sold Owen for 8 million and they won well-over 60 million in CL and BBC was there to help them guarantee a place in CL this year. This means another 10-20 million.

This is a Win-Win situation for LFC.

I always thought Liverpool lost out on the Owen saga a year ago but the stuffs that have happened since, with Liverpool winning the CL and Owen couldn’t cracked the starting XI in Madrid, made that transfer a lost-lost for both sides.

Anyway, all the best for Michael, a player I cheered a lot about when he was with the Reds.
