Summers are all about dewy and shimmery makeup. We’ve heard and keep hearing great reviews about MAC strobe cream, Benefit’s Moonbeam/Highbeam. They instantly brighten-up a dull tired complexion! Too faced liquid highlighting face shimmer is one I’m keen on trying.
i just tried mac strobe cream in market n i liked it but im not sure which 1 is better really for desi's skin as many galz r in favour of benefit high beam/moon beam...wat would u say gina?(btw i hv a light shimmer based primer from a local company of germany,,,it is just okk nothing too speciall)
n also a beautiful shimmering blush i want to have as a 'must haves of summer'...wats abut maybelline's plum mouse shade?
aww i bought benefit's high beam. I found moon beam to be a little on the ummm yellow side.
I like MAC's bronzer with shimmer. This I can't live without in summers. I have high cheeks and this works wonder!
And omg horizon I tried them both too.. strobe (liquid and cream) and benefit's products. The reason I ended up buying benefits because MAC counter was packed and I wanted someone to try strobe on my face. I think they are equally good.
I hope this is just not about face... lips and eyes too..
I like good sparkly/frost eyeshadows too for summers. Some girls i've seen have this really nice white shine eyeshadow on the browbone. I wonder what that is. Its like a creamy look but I am sure they aren't wearing cream shadows in summer and that too on the brow bone.. hmm..
I tried MAC lipglosses. I love lusterglass formula for shimmery look. There is this one called flusterose. Loved that one. Totally getting it.
Liberty of London.. what the hell is that??!
I prefer Benefit's High Beam over Mac's strobe Cream....
....Mac's mineralize blushes are really good.... no need to wear any high beam.... cheek looks nice and shimmery...the "glow" shows up in pics too... I use "Gentle", "Dainty" and another one that I can't remember the name too but it's more of a bronzy colour...that works as a lovely eyeshadow too!! :)
oooohhhh, have seen these… they are NIIICCCCEEE!!!.. Hey Gina, have you seen the shimmery powder they do too? It’s in a long tube with a brush attached to the end… that’s quite nice too… they have it in a few colours too…
The Body Shop do Illuminating creams in tubes, in 2 shades, a silvery creamy one that looks a bit like the Mac strobe cream and a gold one that's especially pretty on asian skin tones, i mix them in my foundation for a lovely glowy dewy look in the summer. and sometimes wear it alone.
Just yesterday, I heard from a friend that No.7 came out with an illuminator that is so good that it was sold out instantly ...now, its only available online.....has anyone tried it?
