Re: Summer regimen
**Summer season 2008 was too bad for me since i was totally carefree. But the darkened skin by the end of the season worked as a ‘wake up’ for next season. Lat year i used a mask i would make out of kachi haldi, baisan and rose water. I read it in one of gina’s threads. It worked like a charm for me, my skin was always very fresh. Other then that i used rose water as a spray. And the usual stuff like, cleanser, scrub, moisturizer before going to bed and sunblock:halo:
**
Re: Summer regimen

BTW gina, how shud i powder the kachi haldi??it nearly broke my chopper :D
Re: Summer regimen

Re: Summer regimen
Yes, I'd change my cleanser. I have been using Juice Beauty Milk cleanser during the winter but will switch to a glycolic acid/AHA-BHA one.
Re: Summer regimen
My skin last summer wasn't too good. I had few whiteheads that became obvious everytime I used shimmer blush which i love. I don't have the whiteheads anymore but I'll definitely go for more facials this summer for clear skin.
Gina can you tell the some good homemade mask again.. for summers!
Keep your skin really clean (use a good cleanser) and spend some time massaging the product into your skin before wiping it of with a damp cotton pad or washing it off.
Always follow-up with a toner (normal skin) and astringent (oily skin)
Switch to a lighter moisturizer or a water-based moisturizer for summers.
Homemade masks:
1 tablespoon fullers-earth mixxed with enough rosewater to form a paste
2 tablespoons watermelon pulp, 1/2 tsp lemon juice and 1/2 tsp honey
1 tablespoon yoghurt, 1 tablespoon chickpea flour a few drops lemon juice
