We usually had the summer picnic from work in september in one of the biggest state parks where we used to have softball tournaments etc but this year we went to a club at beach a couple of weeks back. It was a lot of fun. Several indoor and outdoor activities and tournaments etc, one of the best corporate picnics ever.

I love picnics, my family have them every year in the summer time. Like a htmwrites mentioned in hot countries especially the middle east , dubai, saudi and jordan alot of people picnic and magrib time and at night.
After they have eaten if they have done a bbq they put a pot of mint tea on the bbq to heat up!!!

We often went for picnics when I was a kid.. lived up north back then so it never got really warm but it was so nice to go to the park.. Apart from loads of parkland and a river running thru it there was a playground and animals to go and see (peacocks, geese, horses etc).. Our parents and their friends would lay out a picnic on the grass..
Where I live now there’s a village green opposite the front door so it’s nice to picnic there as well.. it’s a converted church so there are a few gravestones down there as well tho lol
