What do do with your hair in the Summers? Last Summer I was sporting the Frech roll/ twist ( something like that). This year it’s a long braid hanging at the side with a side fringe. I wish my hair was longer :frowning:

Sick of the short hair...really want long locks, like uber long...I could do so much with that. Sigh.

Try extensions but the only problem would be the managing bit during the Summers

omg i wish my hair woz longer......... extensions itch in the summer they really do ur headin........up in a pony.............lol

For the most part, i like my hair up and out of my face during summer, so i’ll go for a messy up do, French/fishtail/regular plait or a simple ponytail during the day and in the evenings, just add a pleat through the front or just style it simply with some loose waves and curls.

I do this sometimes, but I keep getting my hair tangled and I have to blow dry it so only occasionally.

I love this. My hair’s real big and bushy so this keeps it tucked back nice and neat. Plus it keeps all the layers tucked in too.

Some people carry braid so well. If i were one of them, i would never do anything else in summers. Besides my hair is a little longer then shoulder length with layers. That doesnt leave me with too many options:hinna: And i am dumb enough to not experiment:( so i just blow dry them and leave like that. You could call it my hairstyle:hinna: so a bad hair day is a curse:(

Once you have long hair you'll be sick of chignon's/buns/braids :/

ginamans - when I last had uber long hair I was a little bit stupid and didn't know how to manage it...once I had it chopped to midlength it started getting split ends so I had to chop it all off.

But you can do french plaited buns, you could loose curl it, keep it straight and loosely plaited, go for the scruffy look. My hairs really bushy and wavy naturally so when I leave it out now, I look a bit like a poodle. /=

I have long hair and I go for the boho chic look in the summer. I’ll leave my hair straight or just put some loose waves in. Then, I just leave it the way it is or I’ll pin/plait the fronts of my hair to the side like in these pics.

I can’t do french or fishtail braids though, I’ve tried and tried but I just can’t get the hang of it. They look so good as well :frowning:

Sometimes I’ll pull my hair up into a ponytail or a chignon but I generally prefer my hair down as having it up sometimes gives me headaches.

man sometimes i just feel like chopping it all off...cause it gets sooo hot...and the sun is attracted to dark hair :( But i'm gonna be get bangs and trim it a bit, and then keep it in a bun when i go out or I will melt!

It's really hard doing u're own french-braid of fish-plaits..plus due to the weight of the front hair..it looks messy within hours of getting it done.
