Mahismart, when I dye my hair black it looks darker than a person who has natural black hair, I think that's what ppl mean when they say 'darkest black' or whatever..

This is the brown that I wish and hope for but I have so much red in my hair that it always turns out reddish brown. I’ve given up!! sigh

Devil, this is a difficult color..especially if your hair is naturally dark. You’d have to bleach it all first :bummer:

Gina.. That’s exactly what the hairdresser said, bleach it and then i can give u that color. My hair has seen enough trauma :sigh:

Just go black without the highlights. It's gonna be more dramatic and it will look AHHHMAZING with ur delicious skintone.

I think this is kind of the hair color that i got recently..it’s hard to say about light browns cause there are so many different kinds…but I think this is it. I was looking at my hair today and realized that the roots downward my hair is lighter then the ends of my hair..I remember my hairdresser saying somethng like she doesn’t want to fry the ends, I was going to call and her complain but I ll just stick to it. I have gotten black a few times..and I look so pale and gothic in black or dark brown hair..it’s weird…people tell me i look washed out..looks awesome in pictures though.

On a second thought, my hair doesn't look like that. If I got subtle highlights all over it, it would.

For the sake of my hair's health, I decided to go dark brown and it turned black. Some said they liked it and it made me look persian but I thought it totally washed me out. I had to change my color palette in clothes because wierdly dark colors looked better and even the makeup had to be changed. BUT my hair was insanely shiny and I wish i could go black but I know it simply doesnt suit me.

Deviliciousss, the colour in that pic is gorgeous.. Black doesn’t suit me either :frowning: I think very few non-natural black haired ppl can pull off jet black without looking washed out..

Why do I find black really unnatural :(

I'm dying them in 2 days.. no reds sheds for me this time. I want a pretty brown and bronze.
