===========

i hope to see input about the All-Star selection from y’all.

well - here it goes - my thoughts

NL is first because thats the only league that matters - lol

Mike Piazza... get ready - the rocket will be launching his arsenals at you... :p

Pujols? Thome? Casey (He's Injured does that mean someone will replace him?)? Helton? Cant go wrong with either of them this year. Some say Thome should start but I say Albert should start.

Kent.. Good pick but hes injured. Im sure he'll play this game though but what if he doesnt? Loretta starting? How about Tony Womack makes the team?

There's a good reason Larkin made it.. The SS position is weak and he's had a decent year and it's his last so why not have him? Even as a Cardinals fan Jack Wilson should be starting but Id still take Renteria over the long haul.

At 3B it's a no brainer Rolen should start, but McKeon picked Lowell over Ramirez and Beltre who are both having all-star type years IMHO. Ramirez got shafted but I think he takes the Final Vote spot anyways.

Barry Bonds.. Good.. Ken Griffey Jr.. Good.. Sammy Sosa.. YEAH BABY! - Berkman should be starting but I'll take those three in my outfield anyday of the week. Alou? Granted he was on fire and basically carried the Cubs but he still has worse numbers than Edmonds - Berkman as I stated should be a starter but can't go wrong with Sammy. Beltran gets selected but he can't play, therefore taking a spot away from someone who deserves that spot even though it's not Carlos' fault (J.D. Drew, Bobby Abreu, Steve Finley, Jim Edmonds just to name a few). I'm glad Cabrera got selected too.

Johnny Estrada as the back up catcher. That's fine with me.

The Starting pitchers are all fine with me as well except I dunno how much consideration Chris Carpenter recieved but that's alright.

Relievers are fine with me as well I guess.

I'm happy with this NL team - there's always gonna be snubs but you have to deal with it!

I could have made this post longer to state some points but I decided I'd shut up!

here goes AL - the Yankees bias some would say.

Tom Gordon? My God is this Torre the most biased man in the world? At least Mckeon's guys deserved to go - How about Foulke, Guardado or Rincon? Shingo has a better ERA, better WHIP. He hasn't blown a save while Gordon has blown 2. Shingo is 4-0. Gordon is 2-3. How does Gordon celebrate this selection? By giving up the game winning homerun to Ty Wiggington for the Mets, as they sweep the Yanks. GJ Joe. GJ. You look real smart with that pick.

There are tons more pitchers who deserve it more than him - you better slip something in Giambi's food like a parasite so he can't play again. Thomas, Hafner, Konerko. Sure put in Ted Lilly, you're former pitcher. Who cares about the ERA. forget Frasor. Torre was quoted " I love to see the looks on the guys faces when they make it to the team for the first time." BS. BS. BS. then quit bringing in your boys. HEY you're in the AL EAST. Don't just gloss over Melvin Mora.

MLB just screwing the White Sox over again. No one cares for the Sox at all. Sure make the 32nd vote include both Sox players just to split the vote 50/50.

Giambi. just step down and do us a favor - David Ortiz deserved to be starter at 1B.
