What’s the best bike to buy if you want to attach a toddler seat on it?
What about toddler seats, which is the safest?
There is a lot of info on the web about this, but if is confusing. I would prefer getting a toddler seat as opposed to a trailer. I need to get a bike first.
Any ideas? Where is the best place to buy it?

I am assuming its bike paths and not difficult trails.
the trailer ofcourse will not work on a trail, but then you probably dont want to take a toddler in a toddler seat to a trail as well.
so assuming that you will be doing bike paths which are mostly paved, I would say go with a hybrid, no use having the extra weight of a mountain bike, and no real sense in having a road bike.
and regardless of where you buy from, go to bike shops and try the bikes, some even have bike paths closeby that u can test them on, also see if they can give u advice on which one.
having the toddler seat just means the weight and balance issue will be more complicated, center of gravity much higher and how the bike handles can be impacted, now if u trip and fall lets say..preventing falling from a bike that has no weight on it vs, a 25 lb kid can change the equation..think about it like this, something unexpected happens bike slips or whatever you will put your foot down preventing the bike from falling..and yourself, bike has none of your weight on it, vs the added weight of a kid.
you may want to think about the seat vs trailer, get some other opinions of ppl who have tried both
