Agreed.
Depression has a lot to do with hopelessness. And a person usually loses hope when he thinks there is no way out, we need to remind him that everything is possible for Allah.
When considering any action, we must keep rewards (worldly/religious), punishments, and motives in mind.
If you want to kill someone in America, chances are you wont be able to escape. In Pakistan, not only will you get away with it, but you will also get some worldly reward (like money).
In US/Canada, people dont believe in life after death. So suicide= the end.
In Pakistan, even a bad Muslim, even a murder, knows there is a life after death. So suicide= no worldly gains + eternal punishment. Total loss.
Thats my logic anyway =p
