Sara -- The truth is that the final decision rests with the individual. Yeah it might be encouraged, but its all bs to actually let such people have a say in anyones life. We will always meet twisted people in life. But no matter how much they encourage it, its still in the end - up to the individual.
It might be tough living around such people, but Allah rewards those who believe in Him especially when the going gets tough.
geekk is right. Allah tests us only to the extent to which we can handle it.
